Internship is finally over!! =) Not that I was suffer or dying to get out but internship came, done with it and now it is gone! Five months! And the much headache portfolio has been submitted! Woohoo, how time passes so quickly! Now we're only left with our research paper before we graduate! Oh and speakin of which, our timetable has been changed! I only need to go sch twice a week, instead of four. Thank God!! Good news! =)

Yest saw Nic, Claud and myself spending FIVE hours at the salon, wataching the transformation of Nic's hair! Oh!! Forgot to take a after shot! While Nic sat there, Claud and myself treated the salon as our own home, walking about, making noise, ransacking for magazines and playing with Claud's hair. The five hours were definitely well spent, enjoying the company of my dear friends, catching up, bonding again after five months!! Five hours was long but I truly enjoyed it! =) The laughter, teasing and GOSSIPING! Haha, actually very little of the latter. Even Jean, the hairstylist said we were nosiy but not irritating. Haha

My 21st
It was truly indeed a blessed celebration! =) And again I would really like to thank eah and everyone who took time off to come esp it is situated at such ulu panda place, the pretty and wonderful gifts plus all the well wishes. I really enjoyed myself very much that night! =) Hhaha and the cream of war!
And ultimately, I must thank the Lord for blessing me with good weather cos it was raining before, the food cos my mom forgot to confirm with the caterer! Thank God they manage to whip out at the last minute, also the sufficient food cos I was so worried there would not be enough and lastly thanking Him for the love He has blessed me with from my love ones and friends, bringing bout 98% of all I have invited. And for those who could not make it, He blessed me with their well wishes and some with their gifts! Thank you Daddy! =)
No amount of words can express how happy, blessed and thankful I am for everything =) I'll let the pictures do the talking =)

Morning!
Savouring my tao huay while blogging, everyone's out for campaign, leaving Nic, myself and the designer in the office, not that I am complaining! Haha. Today's my third last day at VOX, oh how time passes so quickly. Will be on leave from tomorrow till next Wednesday, yippy! Sorry Nic, I know you're as happy as I am, heh! Honestly, am pretty much can't bear to leave though I also can't wait to get back to school. Contridicting!
Cycling class was great, almost didnt make cos I was nuaying on the bed, debating if I should leave my fat ass off the bed and make it to class, glad I made it in the end. Im starting to feel the tiredness though and wished I stayed in bed. Contridicting!
Time to do my portfolio!

I rarely post twice a day especially not when I just got home and am sleepy BUT I want to share the goodness of our Daddy! Haha
Indeed God is good all the time!
It was drizzling slightly as the train left Bishan Station and as it was approaching AMK, the sky was dark. The only thought in my mind was to hurry reach and rush to Ber's, praying very hard that the rain would contain longer in the clouds for fear the rain would get heavier and getting drenched, inside out, as expected. The moment I got outta the train cabin, it just seemed like everything was against me, everyone walkin infront of me was taking their own sweet time. By the time I got to the bus stop, it was really raining cats and dogs and having blocked by the countless human, I missed my bus. I waited long enough till the next bus came and it was still raining heavily but guess what, by God's grace, the rain stopped by the time I reach my stop, it was just three stops away! Amen!! Hahah you dont know how happy and relieved I was! =)
Secondly, being so broke after signing up for the membership, was worried korkor would be back late tonight which means I would either have to take cab or train home but being the lazy me, I would choose the former but thinking of how financially contraint I am, I have no choice but the settle for the latter. However, AMEN!! korkor came home early!! Hahahhahah you should have seen the joy on my face!
God is good all the time, all the time, GOD IS GOOD, SOOOOOO VERY GOOD!!
Alrighty, off to sleep, tomorrow got cycling class!

Life's pretty much mundane here at VOX now, Nic and I are almost slacking away minding our own business while the rest are busy with the upcoming CNY campaign. Guess, we're leaving soon thus not involving us much...
Sweet Ber came down to have lunch on Mon after his appointment. Was truly shocked when he msged and told me he was around the vinicity. =) Effort made and I truly appreciate it VERY much. I really hope we will be able to work things out this time round. Btw, we are sorta giving each other one more chance, if things dont work out, guess we really would say our goodbyes, I pray that would not happened.
Was supposingly to meet dear yan on Mon for dinner but got postpone cos she had dinner at home. Instead, met jie and aunty (Ber's mom) coincidentally when I called her to ask about Fri when she told me they were at TPY Central so off I went to meet them. Hah and they gave me my bday present, felt really really paiseh. Walked a lil and home I went.
Went to the gym last night with Sze for the personal trainer orientation stuff, now I know, to lose weight quicker, you cannot just rely on cardio instead it is both cardio and resistant exercise, where the latter helps increase your lean muscle which helps to burn fats twice compared to cardio along. Besides, with the increase of lean muscles, it will increase your metabolism rate which is equalivant to your body is working faster enabling to help burn more fats when both exercising and resting. Now I know what I should be doing!
So everything is more or less prepared for this Sat. Bday cake, check. Catering, checked. Send out invitation and map, checked. That should be about it, for now... Pretty much excited bout this Sat, hahah. Very much like a little girl anticipating her own bday party, havent had one since I was Pri 2? Indeed am very blessed and I really thank Daddy for all that He has planned and given me =)

It's been a long while since I've posted, apologies for the hiatus! This is gona be a random post...
Blessed 2007!
Late I know but blessed 2007 my dears! Certainly do hope this new year will bring happiness, good health and joy to you and your love ones! =)
Yan's 21st!
With another new year, means another year older for all which also means, my dear babes are all turning 21! And our dearest yanling just did, a week ago to be exact! =) Our dear girl was so insistent on not celebrating, causing us to changed our plans again and again (ure the bday babe so all's forgiven! haha) but am very glad she was all surprised at the end! =)
After the surprise, slacked at Glutton Square, speaking of which, the oyster omelette ben ordered was so saltish! After much hmmm and uhmmm on where to go, off we went to Geylang for tau huay, i like! And drove around to see the red light district including Changi Village, ben was high the whole night despite not a single drop of alcohol! Hahah, am glad the see the happy faces! =)
Dearest bestie, once again, blessed 21st! Am so glad to be able to celebrate bdays with you year after year and I certainly hope this new year of yours, will bring a brighter and steady future ahead for you and all that you've wished and hoped for will come true! Lastly, many sweet happy return my dear! Lovelove, hugss.
Baptism!
Welcome me into the family! =) Gladly proud to announce, I am finally baptised! =) To add on the wonderful occasion would be having my dear parents, who initially rejected my invitation to attend and surprised me later and my dear wonderful babes who woke up so early to be present! =) Mom treated us all to dim sum after or so she said, a celebration for my baptism, haha!
Certainly hope my faith for God would not weaver despite all the trails I would face in the future instead, my walk with Him would be stronger.
Keeping in Shape
And so, with my Decemeber pay, I finally signed up with California Fitness together with darling weisze. After much consideration and temptation, I finally succumbed. The initial downpayment definately burnt a hole in my pocket! But all is well, I am determined to lose weight!
Curl, straighten or leave it as it is?
Dear all, despite my failure and last attempt to curl my hair, I have decided to try it again. Hiak hiak. The salon at TPY Central is having a promotion, a good one so good that it is hard to be missed so come 30 Jan 07, I'll have a new hairdo. Please wish me luck and keep me in your constant prayer that it will look good! Nicole will be joining me too, though she has yet to decide what she'll be doing.

I just realised how boring my blog can be without any pictures.. As much as I have promised to post em up which I always forget thus only entries after entries, I promise this time round I will constantly remind myself to post em and to take more pictures, one of my new year resolution? Hahah.
Internship @ VOX
Time and tide sure waits for no man, five months has passed so quickly, 26 Jan 07 will be the last day at VOX; the end of internship. It was indeed an eye opener, had lots of fun interning there. The people are great, working environment good, hours are sorta flexible, no politics(!!!!!!), what more can I ask for? Haha okay maybe for the pay to increase, haha but oh well that is decided by the school. Really had a good time there and I really thank God for the right choice He helped me deciding!
Matters of the Heart
It has been six years of good and bumpy journey with bernard. Guess many a times I have told you guys about the possible sad ending of ours and that despite how hard it is, I am still tryin to learn and keep it in practise the saying 'If you love someone, let him go. If he returns, you'll know he is yours and you're meant to be.' This time round we're very close to it but I thank God, just as I've decided to let go, He brought bernard back to me. I've asked God many times if we really are meant to be, He showed me signs yet I am still not certain. I am good now, just hope, this time round, we'll be able to work things out.
Nic, thanks so much for supporting me emotionally the past weeks especially at work, constantly lending me a listening ear and giving me advise. Hugss.
Rah, thank you for your encouragements =) What God has planned for us are indeed for the better of us, thank you so much! Hugss.
Babes, sorry to have made u girls worried and missing out on the dinner last night! We'll catch up real soon k? Hugss. Esp Sze, thank you for letting my ramble to you non stop while we're at the gym, thanks so very much for your painful ear! Hugss
Last but not least, my dearest sister who melt my heart when she heard bout what happened. Thank you mei, im truly touched, I know I've got you to count on, no matter what! Love you lots dear, tight hugss.
Turning 21
On a lighter note, yours truly is turning 21 next week. I am feeling so old already.. To those whom I have not informed, though I believe I have, there's no longer anymore surprise, the surprise has been discovered by me! Hahah all thanks to bernard cos he was worried I would be disappointed in not going overseas, so please spare him, hhahaa. The supposingly bintan trip is instead held at NSRCC. Thank you to all who have been in cahoots with my mom, I am truly impressed! Much much appreciated once again! =)
On a separate note... thinking of changing my blog skin...
