Blessed Lunar Ney Year! =)
Have always looked forward for CNY, not only for the ang bows but also the gatherings, I like! =)
As usual, reunion dinner was at mama's following the first day of CNY, visiting mama and ah gong followed by other two relatives and off to Ber's. I must say, this CNY, I've spent a lot of time at Ber's. Chu yi after 11.30am, I was off from the family reaching home bout 10plus. Had the worst migrane ever that day too! And chu er and san, left the hse at bout 10plus only to be home at 2plus in the morn. Thank goodness mom's not naggy bout it except on insisting a dinner tonight, messing up the date I had with Ber, bleah! Oh well!
Ber stayed over last night after the game =) And we're such pig, slept till bout 2plus this afternoon. Slacked at home bef Ber went to ahgong's to pai nian and soon off to Bishan to catch Ghost Rider, a ridiculous show with no meaning. Heh!
Oh and I caught Follow the Law, I LIKE!!! =)
Had a great CNY admist the tiredness and all. And this CNY, according and quoting from Ber, I sure am active this year, participating in the game of tai di. Did win a little here and there but ultimately like I've told him, just playing for fun. =)
Yest, went to Ber's cousin's bf's place, boy was he hse big and I really mean big! The deco of the hse sure is grand, super duper grand. I know I sound really sua gu but it's really amazing! Reality!!! Hhhaha
Didnt really take much pictures, infact very little dispite having the camera with me and Mei's been nagging bout it. Heh!
Unofficially, tmr will be the last day of sch, will be back for my research interview and poof, three yrs of studying in TP and off to the vicious reality!
Too lazy to type further, heh! Goodnight!

It's been a long while, to me atleast, since I've blogged that I forgot my username and password! Hah!
It is official, NO MORE PROJECTS, NO MORE EXAMS, NO MORE OF SCHOOL! Yeah, okay except for the very last research interview next week and yahooooooooo, over and done with! Provided my research paper is approve! Hah!
Oh well really am glad no more worries bout the research anymore. But being the me, sure will miss those days rushing for projects and whatsnot. Talk bout reminicsing!
Valentine's Day
The silly boy got me a flower! Truly am very surprised though I'd rather he give me the moolahs, hahah. Flowers on Vday are an extortion!! We've never celebrated Vday, even during our honeymood period, hah! Then again, honestly to me, Vday is just another day, if he's sweet and sincere, everyday is Vday =) Then again, truly am so touched by ur flowers sweetheart! =)
*yawn* im so sleepy!

Went to visit our dear Sarah at her place, glad to see her bubbly self and knowing all will be well now! My dear girl, I know you will be reading this, please take very good care of urself k? We've still got the sumptuous buffets yet to attack!!

Finally over and done with my NAFA test!
Such bumper, missed a gold by just four cm of from my standing board jump, then again, that's the furthest I could jump, hah! Pretty much disappointed with my running though I did manage a A but am thankful no doubt as my timin for the guys are definitely not acceptable. Gosh, the passing for em is 12:30, goodness! That's like my timing when I'm in sec sch! Thank God I'm a girl, hahah. And now, my whole body is aching, really aching. It's been a long while since I felt this way despite gg to the gym. Guess I havent really been making full using of my muscles to the max.
Woke up at such ungodly hour, 5.45am, just to be in sch by 6.45am and guess what, we only started at bout 9am. It was so damn DRAGGY! Nic and I was certainly pissed when they kept dragging the whole thing by making us wait, wait, wait and wait and finally ended at 12ish one, ugh!
Sunday
Had a good bonding session with my dearest cousins after dinner tonight, what was lacking was Janice and Roy but I'm not complaining. Talked bout almost everything and anything that came into our mind, reminiscing our innocent childhood. Sure missed those times, gg to gram's early to play hide-and-seek, catching, freeze-and-melt or merely just running around and all getting scolded and punished together in the room to cool ourselves down under the fan, forbided to talk which resulted in us doing all kinda sign language to communicate while keeping silent. Really am thankful for the wonderful childhood and the close relationship that we share. Don't know when was the last time we had such heart to heart talk but really am so thankful for one tonight!
Thank you wash-plate gang, the ones I grew up so dearly with, Royston, Jason, Darren and Janice for making my childhood so perfect! To the many more years we share together, I LOVE YOU guys so much!!!
*My other cousins, I didnot forget you dears too, love you guys equally that much too! =)

Back!
The pig's asleep now. Didnt wait too long at the polyclinic, guess it must be the closing time. In future, shall do just that. While eating at the hawker center, Ber brought up the issue of the carrot cake lady earning big bucks. True to what he said, these days rich people are not only those who trade in oils, lands and such, hawkers are part of them too. Well, we arent concluding that all hawkers are rich, just pointing out those that are doing well. Their profit margin is high, earning would be easy, having said that location and taste of the food must definitely be great too. You get the drift? Oh well, just a penny of thought.
Talking bout hawker center, I very much enjoy eating there, infact I like eating at hawker center. The atmospher is great, though it gets a tad too oily at times plus the price is so reasonable and you will be able to find great food there! Definitely prefer hawker to coffeeshop. I definitely like going resturants too but hawker centers are very much fine with me too. Im a low maintanence yeah! ;)
So my dearest cousin has written in to forum again, nothing new esp since the topic is on serivce tax, very much related to the service industry. Sometimes, I think he shld just go change his occupation and be a debater or something along that line. Haha!
And yes, I have finally permed my hair! =) Like the result very much and am really glad history did not repeat. Only thing, just felt the colour of my hair's too dark, blame it on myself for tellin Jean, I do not want such bright colour. Hah! Oh well but mom said the colour will fade and Ber thinks it is alright. Alright then! Till you guys see me, give me your valuable comments please! Honestly, it seemed like my curls are starting to be not so curly as Jean predicted cos of the nature of my hair - stubborn plus umpteen times rebonding leaving my hair stiff, no elastic. Not that I am complaining though. I just cant seem to make up my mind if I want my hair curly curly or natural curly, so this current condition should be just fine. Hahah Nic will beg to differ, yes Nic, I know your stand on perming hair! Haahh
Oh and yes, Andre invited Nic and myself to his birthday tmr! I am very surprised! And what surprised me more is that the celebration would be at office, BBQ somemore! I asked Andre where can bbq, he told me at the back door area. Hhaha how so innovative! Nic and I have decided on what to get him, talk about budget!
Yest went CNY shopping with Mei, total damage, $100. Not much some may think but the contrain of the wallet is getting tighter! On the brighter note, bought two dresses, which the both of us would be sharing! Thank God, our size is about the same, can save the cost! Felt that the second dress was bought on impluse those we thought bout it long enough till we walked back to the shop though we were at the bus stop, ready to return home but Mei felt otherwise, she likes it very much and instead, she'll be wearing it on chu yi! We'll both be wearing red dresses on the frist day of CNY, how auspicious!
Bought mine last week from Forever 21, simply love the dress, it was almost a love at first sight and I am not exagerrating! I am so going to repeat my story (again!) of getting that dress at the ripped off price! Saw it that day when I was out to meet Jie. Reached Orchard earlier than we were suppose to meet so off to Forever 21 to try mu luck and hold and behold the dress was hanging on their usual messy rack admist other tops. Tried it on, other than the fact that is was too big, size m, it was perfect! But one look at the price, was disappointed, $83. Contemplated on getting it despite the extravagent pricing but decided to walk around again since the shopping hasnt officially started and so I reserved it. Did saw another dress but felt the former was still the best, Jie felt the same too, I brought her back to show it to her. So the next day, Nic and I had the audacity to take 2 1/2 hours lunch break to travel to Vivocity for my dress cos I called to check if they had a smaller size. So off we went and galdly the dress fit perfectly! Was thrilled when the staff told me it was $73! That's $10 lesser meaning, I'll be $10 richer! Cheap thrill! Hhahha. Was checking through the dress when I found a default, not very obvious though. Request for a new piece but was told that was the last one, showed them the default and guess what, they gave me a 10% off! In all, I paid $65.70 for the dress!!! Whoopeee!! You have no idea how happy I was! From $83 to $65.70. I am a happy girl, very blessed indeed! Okay I sound like a bimbo, getting excited over my dress. Girls will always be girls! =)
Going to wake the bf up, he's visiting his dad while I am gg home, mom's cooking chicken porridge tonight! Yummy!

Was ramaging through dear's frigde and guess what I found! Lana cake! Hah was suppose to acc jie, aunty & aunty jasmine today to buy it but bf decided to declare sick. Was really shocked to see it in the fridge cos aunty's still not home, she has work, so nice of them, drove back specially to let me have it since im home. =) The cake isnt as fantastic as I though it would be but nonetheless, it's chocolate cake so =)
