Blessed 2008!
Wow havent blogged for the longest time! 2007 came and went, it was certainly a bumpy 2007 nonetheless, really am thankful for all that had happened, the good and bad. Learnt a lot, cried plenty of buckets but had my fair share of laughters too, met new friends and even forming bonds, closed one and got a job I've longed for. Not complaining. Something will be learnt everyday, every year.
So Batch 929 graduated, was really emotional more or less, the journey together was certainly something memorable. Had mixed feelings graduating, happy cos we're finally not trainee yet sad cos I wont be seeing the four flowers and the batchies everyday. The nonsense we will be doin in class, the gossips and definately the bitchiness in class, haha. And I definately do miss SNY! No more dear Clara to bitch too in the hotel room, camwhore with and getting lost in the streets! More importantly, no more her company when we're outstation. Life moves on! We will keep in touch! =)
Spent the last few hours of 2007 and beginning of 2008, our anniversary with dearest. Clnt spent the whole day with him cos of my BKK turn =( Silly him, thought I wanted to see fireworks so he suggested to go Esplanade and me thinkin vice versa, agreed. So after dinner at New York New York at CityLink, we went ahead as planned. Amidst the crowd, we manage to find ourselves a spot to sit comfortably only realising we gotta wait for like four hrs bef the clock strikes twelve and me realising him being sweet. So after much contemplation and an hr of sitting, we decided to spent the last min hrs of '07 in the comfort of his hse. Hahha. It was really hilarious. Thank you sweetheart and sweet 7th anniversary and counting! =)

2008, a new year, new goals, new plans, new chapter =)
Met the flowers on Monday for a short catch up and did our nails together, how nice =) Though it was a short meet up, loved the company =)

And celebrated my dearest bestie's 22nd the very night at Ben & Jerry's at Dempsey, we finally upgraded as according to our emails, hahah. Seeing the smile on her face, makes me very happy too =) Hahah and finally for once, we camwhore like no tomorrow compared to our other get together. And I almost lost my ring! All thanks to smart Ade, I prolly wont think of callin KFC to ask em check for me. I left it on the stone table while applyin hand cream, how forgetful!! Gosh! And all thanks to the dearest for driving me to pick it up, thank you sweetie! =)
First solo was BKK turn, learnt a fair bit, very rush flight, rush rush rush. But am very thankful the set of crew were nice, went FRA the next day with them too. And I bought my first Longchamp, bought two though. Am really very happy with my buy =) Very good deal and SIN does carry it, hohoho.
Currently at Johannesburg, cant go to the city due to the high city risk so staying indoor. The hotel's deco is nice but a little boring though, concept very much like that of Genting. Casino, indoor theme park, shops and eatry all in one.
Went breakfast with the crew earlier followed by a bit of walkin and a rollercoaster ride! Hhahah. Hibernating now before callin everyone for dinner.
Learning to get used to the job, culture, workload, independance and more imptly the art of carryin balls, hahah. Was catching up with an ex coursemate and she asked if I do want to stay in this line for long. Did thought of it before and I knew what my answer was but somehow when she shot the qn to me, it just made an impact to me. Hah! I certainly do want to fly long but I know at the end of the day, I do want to return back home to my family and when I get married, I definately want to end the day in the arms of my hubby. You know, though it has only been two flights so far, I really long to be home. Never been so happy to know I'm going home and definately to see my family and dearest Bernard Tan.

Infact, once you start flying, you'll really learn to appreciate everything around you. Like how my mom makes it a point to send and pick me even if it's at ungodly hour and the effort dear tan makes to contact me when I'm outstn, buying calling card so that I do not have to pay, ensuring I've enough rest though making fun of me when ever I say I'm tired due to jet lag. I really am very very thankful for everything, more so thankful for the blessing from my Daddy above! =)
